Simple boiled rice. For 4 people
*Ingredients*
2 cups Rice (1 cup = 180ml)
430ml Water (1.2 times more than Rice)
*Recipe*
1. Wash the rice & let it absorb water for 1 hour.
2. Put Rice and water in a pot and put on the lid, cook over high heat until it comes to boil, then reduce heat to low and boil till water evaporates. Turn up the heat again for about 10 seconds.
3. Allow boiled rice to settle for 10 to 15 minutes.
*Memo*
Rice = non-glutinous rice (round & fat)
Open the lid quickly to check if the water is boiling.
When the water evaporates, the rice makes a snappy or crackly sound.
Melt 1 Tbs. honey in water makes the boiled rice more delicious.
